This movie is a spoof of Star Wars. Characters include Dark Helmet (Darth Vader), Princess Vespa (Leia), Barf (Chewbecca), Lone Starr (Han Solo), Dot Matrix (C-3P0), Pizza the Hut (Jabba the Hutt) and Yogurt (Yoda) and the Dinks (Jawas).

Dark Helmet tells Lone Starr that "I am your father's brother's newphew's cousin's former roommate."

Yogurt says "may the Schwartz be with you" and the Schwartz rings can become lightsabres. (Schlueter)
