Alan Eagleson was born in St. Catharines, Ontario on April 24, 1933. He was the executive director of NHL Players' Association and organized many international hockey series.

Cyrus S. Eaton was in 1883 and was a Canadian-born millionaire industrialist and banker who advocated friendly relations between Russia and America during the Cold War in 1950s. He died on May 9, 1979.

Timothy Eaton was born in Ballymena, Northern Ireland in 1834. He settled in Canada about 1854 and bought a small store in Toronto named it the T. Eaton and Company, Canada's first large department store chain in 1869. He began a mail-order business in 1884. He opposed false or misleading advertisements and the use of extended-credit plans. He sold only high-quality products and introduced money-back guarantee for dissatisfied customers. Eaton's became one of the largest family-owned business operations in the world; however the chain went bankrupt. Only the mall, where the original store was, bears the Eaton's name. Timothy Eaton died in 1907.

Edge (Adam Copeland) was born on October 30, 1973, in Orangeville, Ontario, and is a professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, wrestling on its SmackDown! brand where he is the current World Heavyweight Champion.

Copeland initially rose through the ranks as one half of the tag team Edge and Christian, alongside his real-life best friend and storyline brother Christian. He is noted for being one of the most decorated tag team champions in wrestling history, winning a record 12 tag team titles in WWE.

Edmonton Oilers, originally a team in the World Hockey Association, started operating in the NHL in the 1979-80 season. The team has won five Stanley Cups (83-4, 84-5, 86-7, 87-8 and 89-90). Its top players include Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Grant Fuhr.

In the intro for NHL 2004, Tommy tells Victor that Victor should be doing the intro because he is Canadian and asks him to "speak something Canadian." Victor says, "How 'aboot' I kick your ass, eh?" As he walks away, Victor says, "I'll be in my igloo." Tommy says, "You forgot your beer."

David James Elliot was born in Toronto on September 21, 1960, and raised in Milton, Ontario. He stars on the t.v. series JAG and appeared as regular on the Canadian t.v. series Street Legal (1988-91).

Phil Esposito was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on February 20, 1942. He played centre in the NHL.

World Expo
Expo '67 was held in Montreal from May to October 1967. It was held as part of Canada's 100th anniversary of Confederation. More than 50 million visited the Expo themed Man and His World.
