Joe Flaherty was one of the original writer/performers on the Canadian series SCTV.

Sir Sanford Fleming was born in Kirkcandy, Scotland, in 1872. He came to Canada as chief surveyor of the Canadian Northern railway route. He invented international standard time and designed Canada's first postage stamp. He died in 1915.

Dave Foley was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, on December 4, 1963. He is a comedian actor and was part of the television series Kids In The Hall and starred as Dave Nelson in the t.v. show News Radio.

Megan Follows was born in Toronto on March 14, 1968. She is best known as Anne of Green Gables in the Canadian t.v. series based on the book.

For Better Or For Worse is a Canadian comic strip written and drawn by Lynn Johnston.

Glenn Ford was born in Ste. Christine, Quebec on May 1, 1916. He is an actor of the 1940s and 50s and starred in the movie Gilda.

Maureen Forrester was born in Montreal on June 25, 1930. She is a classical singer.

David Foster was born in England and moved to Victoria, British Columbia. He produced albums for Michael Jackson, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Michael Bolton, Barbra Streisand, Chicago, Kenny Rogers and Celine Dion. His soundtrack film credits include The Bodyguard, Sleepless In Seattle, Evita, Ghostbusters, Footloose, The Mirror Has Two Faces and St. Elmo's Fire.

Michael J. Fox was born in Edmonton and starred in Family Ties, Spin City and the Back To The Future movies. He started his acting career on a British Columbia t.v series. The J in his name was added on to prevent confusion with another Michael Fox.

Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's disease and he is involved with finding a cure for the disease.

Terry Fox was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1958. After being diagnosed with cancer and losing his leg in 1980, he started the "Marathon of Hope" run to raise funds for cancer research. He started in St. John's but had to stop running in Thunder Bay, Ontario when the cancer recurred and died on June 21, 1981. Before he died from to the disease, he raised $23 million.

Brendan Fraser was born Indianapolis in 1968. He has starred in The Mummy (2000) movies and George Of The Jungle.

Barbara Frum was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on September 8, 1938. She was a journalist, broadcaster and announcer for the CBC's The Journal. She died in Toronto in 1992.

Nelly Furtado was born in Victoria, British Columbia, on December 2, 1978. She is a singer-songwriter and released her debut album Whoa, Nelly in 2001. Her singles include I'm Like A Bird and Turn Off The Light and sang on the Swollen Members single Breathe. Recently, she had a child, Nevis, and released her second album.
